Tri City Auto LLC was founded by brothers Duke and Jimmy Thompson in 1973. Duke is known as an automotive enthusiast and enjoys working on vehicles as well as racing cars. Jimmy always enjoyed the automotive business and working with customers. 

Tri City Auto started out a small two-bay garage in Hamilton, Ohio. As the shop's reputation grew, so did the business. Eventually, Tri City Auto LLC ended up in its current day location at 1305 Central Ave. in Hamilton, OH featuring a 10-bay auto facility.

Duke's two children (Rodger and Jason) have since continued the automotive profession in the tradition and excellence of the company and this still continues today. 

The motto has not changed since the opening of Tri City Auto – to be fair and loyal to the customer and to be as diligent as possible to repairing each and every vehicle.
